Last Song of the Blackbird
The sister film to last year's Centigrade, Last Song of the Blackbird is set in the year 2070. The ice caps have melted and the world’s weather systems have changed dramatically. The United Kingdom is now a country besieged by flooding in the winter and drought in the summer…
Last Song of the Blackbird will be written by young people under the guidance of professional TV writer and film maker Grant Watson.

Stranger than Fiction
Life writing workshops with writers Rukhsana Ahmad, Oladipo Agboluaje and director Helena Bell at 21 South Street, Reading. Participants were encouraged to write a script from a true story. After six workshop sessions, actors were brought in to work alongside the writers and help develop the writer’s vision. An innovative project which offered a short series of Summer/Autumn workshops to unlock personal creativity.
